We visit all of our French language schools to make sure that you receive the highest standard of teaching, facilities and accommodation available in your chosen location. You can choose from the cosmopolitan capital, a cultural destination or chic resort with beautiful beaches. Choosing a French language course in France can be a daunting prospect which is why we offer an advisory service before, during and after your course. We can help you plan the trip, book your flight, organise your travel insurance and test your level of French.

Learn French at a French language school

To learn French in France, our French language schools use a teaching method that allows students to develop the four basic skills of language learning: listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing. The aim is to learn French in a natural and spontaneous way, just as students have learned their mother tongue. All of our students are encouraged to speak French from the very first day using it in typical real-life situations. The basic syllabus is supplemented by special exercises such as role-play, situational dialogues, project work and the use of audio-visual facilities. Class sizes are small with an average of 7-8 students per group. This helps ensure personal attention and the opportunity for self-expression. All of our French language courses are based on 6 different levels from beginner to advanced level and follows the system approved by the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages”. All of our students receive a certificate of attendance and achievement at the end of their French language course in France. For students wishing to concentrate on revising for their upcoming exams some of our French language schools offer special GCSE and A Level revision courses.

Accommodation in France

To maximise your language learning on your French language course in France we recommend that you stay with one of our carefully chosen French host families. Staying with a French host family provides you with a 'total immersion' in the French language as the family will normally only speak to you in French. This helps you learn the language more quickly. You will have your own private bedroom and your host family will normally provide you with breakfast and evening meal each day. Some of our French language schools also offer residence, apartment and hotel accommodation. Discounts are available for 2 students sharing a twin room.

Social and Cultural Activities

We understand that learning the French language does not stop when you leave the classroom. That is why all of our French language schools offer a supplementary social and cultural activity programme during afternoons, evenings and weekends. These include museum visits, language exchanges with local native students, conferences on local history, art and literature. Some activities are offered free of charge.

How do I Travel to France?

We can arrange flights from many UK cities to your chosen language school. On arrival we can arrange for you to be met at the airport and taken to your accommodation
